Jim Shore collectibles are great for hobbyists and collectors of all ages. Jim Shore creates unique figurines for almost every occasion and holiday. Jim Shore has even created a line of collectible figurines in a partnership with Disney. One Jim Shore Disney piece features Tinkerbell standing inside of a large bright orange pumpkin with her head resting on her hands as she leans against the inside of the pumpkin. This piece was obviously created for Halloween but you get the idea.

At one popular online gift shop I saw a huge collection of Jim Shore collectibles and also many different Webkinz stuffed toys. The webkinz toys are neat because a child can adopt them online and play fun learning games.

Jim Shore is a cool artist who makes unique figurines for almost every occasion including Christmas, Easter and Halloween.  I think that Jim Shore started out doing something else besides art but later in his life he started using some skills that he learned from his parents to create unique collectibles.

I believe that his mother was a seamstress and made really nice quilts from small patches of fabric.  Each patch of the quilt had its own design and when it was all put together it made an even more impressive design.  Some of the collectible figurines that Jim Shore makes implement this same quilting design directly on the surface of the figurine.  It actually gives the collectible I nice touch that sets it apart from most of the usual collector’s items.

Jim Shore even makes a collectibles line of Disney characters.  I know that many folks young and old will aprreciate these little beauties.  Mickey Mouse being my favorite, I would really enjoy having a figurine of Mickey for my bedroom.

Jim Shore’s collectibles can be found in various different stores but most likely in only the best gift shop.  What I would really enjoy is if Jim Shore made a Peanuts line of collectible figurines because I think that Jim Shore could really make a great Snoopy.
