She is also able to see events much before they happen in her dreams. Allison can also come to know what people think as her capability, as a mind reader improves. Day by day she becomes more and more disturbed by her dreams. The thought of having some kind of mental imbalance also crossed her mind. Ultimately she asks her husband for help. But gradually Allison’s husband Joe comes to realize that not any sort of mental disturbance, but his wife is really gifted. From here the story takes some leaps. Finally it is seen that Allison is working at the district attorney’s office as an assistant. Her nature of work is of something very peculiar. She uses to communicate with the dead people in her dreams and tries to solve their problems, the cases that were not solved due to lack of evidence. The complication here is that police is not going to arrest somebody and the court of law is not going to sentence someone based on mere dream experiences. That sounds silly also. So Allison has to work very hard to give strong reasoning to police to arrest someone and provide rock solid evidence to the judicial system to convict somebody.
